Endangered Species Profile I
The Scottish Wildcat
The Scottish wildcat, despite the fact it looks like a domestic tabby is a different species.
The Scottish Wildcat is the only native cat left in Scotland and are endangered due to deforestation, fur trade and predator control. They hybridize with domestics, which dilutes the wildcat genes and may cause the true scottish wildcat to go extinct through feral cat populations. Because of hybrids there may be fewer then 35 pure Scottish highland cats, making them the most endangered mammal in Britain.

Alrighty ^.^ Thank you for answering! I'm hoping to add on a little zoo/learning center/wildlife place to my ranch and will be bringing in some exotics ^.^
Do you want to donate prizes? I think a show, maybe like a conservation event would be fun. We could ask people to draw their animal and (maybe) a zookeeper giving a talk on the animal and have them write down some fun facts and information on the conservation of the animal.
